I promise I have not fallen off the face of the Earth. I do have a post in the works about Africa. I've decided to backdate these entries and do one each day, as if they were real time journal entries. Of course, I realize that after-the-fact realizations and things will make their way into the entries, but I'm ok with that.
Make sure to keep a look out for posts dated Oct 15-22, or just look for the "Ethiopia" tag. Hopefully it won't take me weeks to get these out, but know that they are coming!
